So I managed to finish the Quilt that I started last night. My friend bought a partially finished quilt at an antique shop and wants to keep it in the car. The fabrics are all vintage 50s and 60s. I don't really have large pieces of vintage fabric in my stash so I used a 70s sheet as the backing and a heavy thin fabric for the filler. He wants it to fold up pretty small but still feel substantial. I thought about trying to quilt it but decided I liked the way it looked better tied. The edges were really uneven so I opted to go a different route and used double fold bias tape with a fun pattern on the edges to hide the imperfections. I think it turned out super cool.
