knitting... for babies.

So the knitting is coming along. I won't say it's coming along well, but it's coming along. I'm getting better and starting to understand the concept. A childhood friend of my hubby is expecting his first child in December and we are going to visit with them VERY soon. I didn't really have time (or the energy really) to crank out a baby quilt in the time I have so I opted for trying my hand at a baby hat. I found a pattern and committed. I'm happy with it, considering. It really is the very first thing I've finished. And it's a hat and anyone can tell that, it doesn't require explanation. Mission accomplished. Next... a knitted baby blanket. More to come soon!
