New Additions...Bahhh!

This spring has brought lots of change to our little piece of the Earth. You met the chickens last month and saw the growth to the garden. Well, ladies and gents please say hello to Blanche and Rita. These lovely ladies came to live with us last night and have already brought many smiles, lots of laughs and as of this morning, 2 cups of milk from Rita. I find them absolutely beautiful. They are sweet and kind and a bit mouthy. Ahh, they fit in perfectly!

As a sidenote: My amazing husband worked many long hours after coming home from his "real" job to build us a barn and fence. Thank you amazing husband for turning this yard of ours into a food producing piece of earth. I am one blessed girl!
