The day was long....
We started at 7. Here's the cliff notes version.
2 1/2 bushels of tomatoes.... (that's way more than you would think)
Boiling water, lots of peeling... lots of peeling.
Food processoring... lots of it!
juicing.... lots of that too.
Crying.... from the onions.
Simmering... for hours (4 of them)
Then into cans
8 - almost - jars of sauce.
