Kerri's uber talked about zucchini pickles

So my friend Kerri has been talking about her friend Beth's somebody's, sister's, uncles, brother's somebody's famous zucchini pickles for weeks. Basically since gardens went in. This morning she came over with a giant sack of zucchini and all the "fixin's"

We chopped zucchini, onions and jalapenos poured some water and salt on top and then the waiting began. I don't know the actual recipe (it's top secret) but I do know there was a lot of waiting. It went something like this...
Chop, add water and salt, wait..... strain, add vinegar, sugar, stuff, wait... bring to boil, fill jars, add lids, wait.... 8 hours later.... zucchini pickles!
