Beginning

The itch I had to get my fingers back in some yarny goodness did not stop with the completion of the cardigan I made for my beautiful neice. Instead there was a flare up. You see, this was the first piece of clothing that I have yarned. Ever. I've made hats and accesories. I've made blankets and bows, but I had never made something that could hang in the closet of a babe.
I was so glad to give that first as a gift to someone I love. However, I found that I felt disappointment that there weren't any yarned mama mades hanging in the closets of my babes. After flipping through the same book and browsing Ravelry, I started another cardigan for my oldest little. I figured she'd been without the longest so it seemed resonable that she would be first. I decided to make a version of the Swing Set Cardigan with a few changes to the edging.

These colors are so much prettier in real life. It's less orange and more of a coral.

Ahh, it really does feels so good to have my hands in yarn again.

Here's wishing you a lovely day and some time to get your hands in some yarn.

Color update: The yarn is Caron Simply Soft in Persimmon and Bone.

  1. Ok so if you post this stuff, then you MUST post what type of yarn you're using. Because I might just fall in love with the colors and then won't know what to get ;)
